Sound installation that reflects on Immortality. The installation consists of 3 pieces: two monoliths of retro-futurism and one Frankenstein-machine. Each of the pieces uses reel-to-reel recorders in an unconventional way to create intriguing soundscapes. The three pieces share a retro esthetic with futuristic enhancements. Woodgrain electronics are combined with flashy LED plexiglass extensions. At the same time, the machine mechanics are exposed to show the tape medium and transportation of the tape.
