‘NOBODY’’

Nina’s project ‘Nobody’ concentrates on reflecting and researching the topic of ‘The Body’ in the Artificial Intelligence era and how the body is formed and extended by the use of machines.  Our world is slowly becoming an artificial place where the human body becomes absent. We now, more than ever, conceptualize our bodies in relation to our machine learning algorithms. 

Her project is set up around two characters, a bot and Nina. Together, these two characters create a short dialogue, based on a question and answer format, with the aim to explore how the notion of the body has changed and how the technology has shifted our conception to what constitutes a body at the very substance. In this dialogue, I posed questions about transhumanism and duality, post-humanism, (dis)embodiment and anthropocentric “subjects”.
